By carefully spraying the skin with a focused stream of exfoliating micro-crystals, microdermabrasion improves the skin’s appearance and encourages the production of new skin cells. Microdermabrasion is a quick treatment that can be preformed during a lunch hour with little or no discomfort following the treatment. After the treatment the skin may be a little reddish, but this typically fades within a few hours.
